Two-day gig

The last two days my band played on a local marked down at Flå, a place in Hallingdal. It where a lot of fun, but extremely exhausting. We figured out that we had been working, kind of, for about 14 hours that saturday and about 10 hours on sunday. 

We played most of the songs that will appear on our debut album, which will be released, hopefully, before December this year. 

Let me introduce the band for you guys. 

There is me, a.k.a., Beardyman, on the drums, my brother, Thomas a.k.a., Tommygun, on guitar, Fredrik, a.k.a., Mr. Blue, on vocal and guitar and Ørjan, a.k.a., Toxic, on bass. And the name of the band is Brage. 

We had our first gig in 2010, but the line-up where a little different back then. Our guy on vocal played bass and his brother played guitar. It was in January 2013 that Toxic entered the band. 

We play a great combination of genres, like funk, hard rock, metal and progressive. For example, we got a song that is written in a gypsy scale combined with Norweigan folk music and lyrics in Norwegian. 

This summer we went to a studio up north in Trøndelag to record our first album. 

The album is called Don't Panic!, which also is the name on one of the songs on the album. 

It is a tribute to Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy. 

Hopefully, we'll get the songs uploaded to Spotify and iTunes.
